港食堂 (Kong Sihk Tong) is an authentic Hong Kong-style tea restaurant located in Manhattan’s Chinatown. The identity system is inspired by the charm of imperfection found in the hand-lettered signage typical of classic Hong Kong tea restaurants, aiming to evoke a sense of warmth and familiarity for those far from home.

The Colored “Post-it” notes used to display information, nod to the nostalgic visuals of retro Hong Kong diners. The intentionally overlapping layout of these notes reflects the casual, improvised aesthetic often seen in traditional tea restaurants, reinforcing the space’s cultural authenticity and inviting atmosphere.
